A special “Readers’ Choice Award” will also be given to the product that garners 100% of its winning mandate from public voting.
To ensure your voice is heard, make sure to submit your votes before the deadline of 00:01 AM PST / 03:01 AM EST / 08:01 AM BST on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

How Products Make the Shortlist
The initial shortlists for each category were meticulously curated by TechRadar’s editors, drawing upon their extensive experience and product testing. Eligibility criteria for products generally required them to be released after September 1, 2024, and before September 30, 2025. Certain categories, such as Best Fitness App and Best Smart Lights, had exceptions to this rule, only requiring products to be currently available before September 30, 2025. Public nominations for product consideration closed on August 8, 2025.
What Happens After Voting Closes?
Once voting concludes on October 1st, TechRadar will tally the public’s votes. These reader rankings will then be combined with the scores from their expert judges to determine the overall winners in most categories. The much-anticipated TechRadar Choice Awards Week will then commence on Monday, October 20, 2025, where all the winners will be officially announced across TechRadar’s platforms. This is a crucial moment for both consumers and manufacturers, as it highlights the most impactful and beloved technologies of the year.
