Eligibility and Timeline for the 2025 Awards
To be eligible for the TechRadar Choice Awards 2025, products generally need to have been released between September 1, 2024, and September 30, 2025. Certain categories, such as Best Fitness App and Best Smart Lights, have slightly different criteria, only requiring the product to be available for sale before September 30, 2025.
While public voting is now underway, the nomination period for brands and products to be considered for shortlists concluded earlier, on August 8, 2025. TechRadar’s editors reviewed these nominations alongside their industry expertise to create the official shortlists across more than 100 categories.
